Country Home is bringing high style to the high desert this year with the opening of its Sonoran Desert Dream Home at Superstition Mountain. The home, a modern, handsome take on classic country, features a great-room kitchen with professional series appliances, an outdoor kitchen terrace for year-round entertaining, and an observation deck for taking in the Arizona sunset and following action on the Nicklaus-designed Prospector Golf Course, home to the LPGA’s Safeway International Golf Tournament. The house will open to the public to coincide with the tournament on March 13 and will be open through March 26. For information, go to www.countryhome.com.

SHOPGIRL: SPLISH, SPLASH -- Page 59
ShopGirl is having fun in her bath with brainy, budgetwise and beautiful products. Her picks? A pull-out kitchen faucet for the bathroom, vanities and bath sinks in all styles and for all pocketbook sizes, and a polished nickel vacant/occupied sign that’ll help you avoid embarrassing entrances or annoying knocks on the door.

ROOMS IN BLOOM -- Page 90
This season, the word in boudoir fashions is flower power. So follow our tips and brighten your bed and bath with a spring shower of fresh flower prints. Maximize impact by gathering all your floral vases and kitsch in various shapes and sizes for a lush bedside display. And, introduce florals at ground level with rugs that’ll establish a palette for the whole room.
