Meredith Corporation to Webcast First Quarter Earnings Conference Call

DES MOINES, Iowa, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP) will webcast its fiscal 2007 first quarter earnings conference call at 11:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 25, 2006. That morning, before the market opens, the Company will release its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. The live webcast will be accessible to the public on the Investor Information section of the Company's web site, , and an archive will be available through November 1, 2006. A transcript of the call will be posted to the Company's web site as well.
