DES MOINES, IA (April 1, 2008) – Meredith Corporation (NYSE:MDP) announced today it has finalized the sale of WFLI-TV in Chattanooga, TN. Terms were not disclosed. Meredith acquired the station in 2004 from Chattanooga Broadcasting L.P.
“This decision supports our strategy to focus on larger markets, as well as markets where we have or can create duopolies,” said Meredith Broadcasting Group President Paul Karpowicz.
