Better Homes and Gardens Calls for Entries for Annual Recipe Contest

BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS WANTS YOUR ORIGINAL RECIPES

Magazine Call for Entries to Annual Recipe Contest for Chance to Win $25,000

NEW YORK (April 14, 2008)Better Homes and Gardens announced today its call for entries to the 2008 Prize Tested Recipe Annual Challenge. Through July 18, contestants can submit their favorite original recipes to Better Homes and Gardens for a chance to win cash and prizes totaling $25,000.

Six winners will each receive $2,500 for their recipes in each of the categories including Desserts, Everyday Easy, Good & Healthy, Grilling, Holiday and Personal Favorites.

One of those six, will be named the Grand Prize winner and will take home a total of $25,000 in cash, a trip for two to Sonoma County’s Rodney Strong Vineyards and the opportunity to prepare their recipe in the Better Homes and Gardens Test Kitchen with a food editor. The Grand Prize winner’s recipe will also be featured in a 2009 issue of Better Homes and Gardens and on a nationally-syndicated Prize Tested Recipe television special.

Cooks can enter their original recipes in the Better Homes and Gardens Prize Tested Recipe Annual Challenge at BHG.com/PTRannual between April 7 and July 18.
